Fully remodeled 2/1 (2023), lakefront cottage with a huge covered and uncovered deck on an acre on Camden's "SUNSET SIDE." Sleeps 5.

2 bedrooms (queen master & full + trundle guest bedroom) and a full bathroom. We sleep 4 comfortably and allow up to 5 guests.

Easy road access, boat ramp is only a driveway over and room for your trailer. Shared dock for your boat (we have 3 adjacent docks so there is always room).

Location! Location! Location! 

Camden side of Lake Wateree! Clearwater Marina: 3 mins, Wateree Rec Area & a good Dollar General: 5 mins! Only 12 miles (20 mins) to downtown Camden or Lugoff, to Wal-Mart, Starbucks & Chic-fil-a! The Charlotte airport is 1.5 hours and Columbia, SC for day trips is only 45 minutes away. Also, less than 5 minutes to a Dollar General (a good one) that will have what you forgot! Yes, we have upscale restaurants nearby, and yes, we are near the South Carolina Equine Park facility in Camden and HOTH Ranch (their visitors stay with us often!) We are also only 5 minutes from Wateree Recreation area! 

Why is the Camden side preferred? For the amazing sunsets, of course! As well as access into town. 

Why are lake's coves desirable? Way less noise, less boats, better fishing, more birdlife and quieter, calmer waters for easier swimming and better "children oversight." Savvy renters search out the coves! "Once you go cove, you don't go back!" 

Need to sleep more? Next door we have 2 adjacent lakefront cottages for overflow guests, one of which is a 3 bedroom and one that is 6000 sq ft!

YOUR LAKEHOUSE: Single level living. 2-bedrooms & bathroom, but steps onto the deck. Covered and uncovered decks, WiFi, W/D, Gas Grill & Fire Pit! Renovated in 2023. Budget Friendly and checks all the boxes.

OUR LAKE: Typically a beach-entry type lake depending on the water levels. We also overlook one of Wateree's islands, are in a cove and no, there are no alligators this far north (Floridians always ask). Additional parking at our airplane hangar, if needed. 

WATER TOYS: Guests have access to 1 kayak and 1 paddle board, but also the potential to share water toys with our three adjacent lake houses (each has a couple water toys that are shared frequently).

Welcome to “Lake Wateree Vacations!” Guests have full access to the cabin, as well as a shared boat ramp next door and a shared dock for your boat! And big open yard for the kids to play in! We are NOT living next door like other hosts, not to worry, do not vacation on egg shells :) Guest will have the caretaker's number (who is local) and a co-host’s number, should they need anything! You are also 5 minutes from a Dollar General if you feel like something is missing, buy it, leave it and bill us (within reason!) 

With so little vacation rental inventory on such a great lake, we simply knew we had to share our shoreline and guest houses with new friends - come enjoy the sunset side of Lake Wateree! Room for your trailer on property! 

Our dog fee is $50. We tend to allow one dog, but will entertain more, please inquire about your dogs with their breed and weights (if more than one)!
