We are located on beautiful Lake Wateree that boasts 200+ miles of shoreline and 21 square miles of lake! Located less than 1/2 mile to Clearwater Marina whose address is 2029 Baron Dekalb Rd, Camden SC for our roundabout location.
12 miles or less than 20 mins to downtown Camden or Lugoff, for Wal-Mart, Starbucks, Chic-fil-a & dining! The Charlotte airport is 1.5 hrs and Columbia, SC is only 45 mins away for day trips. State Parks nearby, of course, and Congaree National Park within an hour! Also, less than 5 minutes to a Dollar General (a very good one) that will have what you forgot!
Yes, yes and yes! We have upscale restaurants nearby. We have lakefront restaurant/bars within 10 minutes. And yes, we are near the South Carolina Equine Park facility in Camden and HOTH Ranch (their visitors stay with us often) as do Military Academy families! Also 5 minutes from Wateree Recreation area so camp before or after your stay!
boat docks, a shared boat ramp & H2O-toys!
There are THREE boat docks between our FOUR lakehouses and ONE shared boat ramp, each purposefully, uniquely different with a fire pit and each typically includes 1 kayak & 1 paddle board. However, the water toys are meant to be shared between all four lakehouses, so borrow, but ask first. It works well!
Our lake is typically a beach-entry type lake depending on the water levels. We also overlook two of Wateree's islands you can paddle to, are in a cove and no, there are no alligators this far north (Floridians always ask).
Access to a boat ramp is literally feet away from you, enjoy!
